New links are added with the "New" status. The touched date shows the date the link was added or last visited. If you've set Sites2C to automatically set expiration date, then the link will receive an expiration date. You can also add a short comment for each link added. When Sites2C is minimized, it is minimized to the tray, next to the clock. If you need Sites2C to accept drag&drop, do not minimize it, just keep it behind other windows. To go to a link you've added before, double click on it and it will open in your default browser. Adding links by right-clicking in Internet Explorer If you are using Microsoft's Internet Explorer 4.00 and up, you may add links to Sites2C using Internet Explorer's context (right-click) menu. Simply point to the link you wish to add to Sites2C, right click on it and choose "Add to Sites2C" from the menu. Yes, it's that simple.
Adding links using IE's context menu Adding links by drag & drop To add links to Sites2C by drag & drop, hold the mouse over a link in a web page, click the mouse and drag it over to Sites2C window. Release the mouse button to drop the link in the list area. ![]() First drag link from browser, ![]() then drop in Sites2C, ![]() Link was added. When Sites2C is hidden by other windows, drag to link to the Sites2C icon on the task bar. It is usually located at the bottom of your screen. Keep the mouse over the icon for a moment. Sites2C will pop up and allow you to drop the link in its window: ![]() You can also drag links from the address bar as shown here: ![]() Adding links manually To add links manually, click on "Link" in the menu and choose "New Link". You can also click CTRL+N. This will add a new item to the list and you may enter the link manually in the first column. Go to see sites To go to a site you've added before, double click on it and it will open in your default browser. Columns The first column shows the link or URL of the site. The second column shows the status of the link. It is one of three: New, Visited, Expired. New links are links which were added to Sites2C but were never clicked to visit. Visited links are links which were visited from within Sites2C by double clicking on them. Expired links are old links, which were expired at expiration date. You may also set a link's status by clicking on its status and selecting a different status from the list shown. The third column shows the "touched" date. A link is touched either when it is first added to Sites2C or when it was double clicked to be shown in a browser. This date always shows the last visit. The fourth column shows the expiration date. If you've set Sites2C to enable expiration of links, then the link will have an expiration date. On this date, the link's status will turn to "Expired". You can also set Sites2C to automatically set an expiration date to new links X days from the day they were added to Sites2C. You may change the expiration date by clicking on it and flipping through the numbers. The fifth and last column shows the comment for the link. Click on it to edit a comment for the link.
